Links to Share - Ghalib

A personal aspiration learning - much appreciated but little understood - the fine delicacy of Urdu poetry, the packing of paradoxes, moods and unsayable because the language yields so gracefully to it. What better poet than Ghalib, and what better than detailed notes written simply, with meanings of difficult Urdu words. As long as one understands spoken hindi and has intermittent inkling of a few urdu words, one can study and learn here. Or even if one doesn't understand the language, the beauty of the thought is still visible in English.
