This morning brought to my inbox Hasui Kawase from one of the Substacks I subscribe to. That got me looking up his prints, he being a woodblock artist from Japan (1883 - 1957). A few of the prints gleaned from the internet :)
Some of the snow prints have a Saul Leiter photograph vibe to them.
